Thank You Voters!

In the late 1990’s the Johnson Creek community supported purchasing land upon which the District would eventually build a new school. Thanks to the support of the community, the Johnson Creek School District can move forward on making that vision a reality.

The District voters supported the referendum with 930 voting yes and 899 voting no. We are so very proud of the work that community members, students, staff, parents, businesses and elected officials did on behalf of the Johnson Creek School referendum. It truly was a community effort.

A special thank you is sent out to the 4 Our Kids group for all of their support.

District officials will meet with our architects early next week to move into the design and bidding phases of the project. The plan is to be in the new school in 2015.

On behalf of the Board of Education, the staff, and especially the students, we thank the community for their support in this great investment in the education of our young people.
