Some special Johnson Creek students will be receiving gifts thanks to the efforts of First Sargent Tim LaSage, a member of our community and a regional leader in the US Marine Corps Reserve.147 children in our district will receive a toy thanks to his efforts .
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots
Program is to collect and distribute toys as Christmas gifts for children in
the community. Their main objective is
to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable
resources – our children. The primary
goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message
of hope to youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive
and patriotic citizens.
On behalf of the children and their families, we would like to send a big THANK YOU to the US Marine Corps and especially First Sargent LaSage for thinking of our children!
