In commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the writing the words of “The Star-Spangled Banner”, by Francis Scott Key, Sept. 13, 1814, the elementary students have been learning about its creation, history, listening to a variety of groups perform our national anthem, and learning to sing it in music class. During POPS on Sept. 22, they sang “The Star-Spangled Banner". This is their performance.
This is great! My kids keep singing it together in the car. :)
