Badger Boys State
Congratulations to Jay Pitzner who will represent Johnson Creek High School at Badger Boys State this summer. His delegation to Badger Boys State is sponsored by the Johnson Creek American Legion Post #305. Jay is an outstanding student who is on the honor roll each quarter. He enjoys math classes and plans to attend college and major in an engineering field. Jay is gifted academically, yet he is so much more. He is involved in football, wrestling, baseball, and student council. In addition to juggling school and activities, Jay works at a local company as a general machinist. Overall, he is mature, responsible, thoughtful, and respectful. Johnson Creek High School is proud to be represented by Jay at Badger Boys State!!
Badger Girls State
Congratulations to Avery Hombsch who will represent Johnson Creek High School at Badger Girls State this summer. Her delegation to Badger Girls State is sponsored by the Johnson Creek American Legion Auxiliary. Avery is a kind and caring student who is dedicated academics as well as extra-curricular activities. She has been on high honor roll for every quarter during high school and she has been inducted into the National Honors Society. In addition to academics, Avery is involved with volleyball, basketball, 4H, FFA, and Art club. Avery has taken a special interest in helping students at the elementary/middle school as an elementary buddy and a teacher’s assistant. She plans to attend college as an Education major. Overall, she has earned the respect of adults and peers. She is a wonderful role model who connects with others through patience and understanding. Johnson Creek High School is proud to be represented by Avery at Badger Girls State!
