The Johnson Creek School District received another donation towards its new athletic fields. Avon Dairy Solutions donated $10,000 to the One Team One Dream campaign. The campaign has already raised $684,000 towards the $2.5 million goal for the football field and track, game field for baseball, game field for softball and practice fields at the new school site.
Jennifer Jirsa, a representative of the company stated, “Avon Dairy Solutions is excited to give back to the students and
community through this donation
for the Athletic Fields Project. This donation will help provide an area for our students and community’s well-being. We are honored to be part of this project.”
Avon Dairy Solutions of Johnson Creek
is part of the global brand, Milkrite. The Johnson Creek location makes milking equipment and provides services to the Dairy Industry. Johnson Creek employs 150 employees.
“It is wonderful to partner with Johnson Creek businesses like Avon Dairy Solutions,” stated Cale Vogel, Johnson Creek MS/HS Principal and Athletic Director. “We are grateful for their ongoing support in our schools and community.”
A community fundraising event is taking place next month, Saturday, October 17. The second annual Run for the Fields 5k Run/Walk is taking place at the Johnson Creek Community Center. More information on the event and campaign can be found at the One Team One Dream website,
