Thursday, May 28th was a practice that I don’t think any of the team will forget.  Sierrah’s mom emailed Channel 58 news out of Milwaukee about us and they came out to film practice and interview us for a story for their station.  The videographer was here for about 2 hours filming and the finished product was very nicely done.  Here is the link to the story: http://www.cbs58.com/story/29194505/a-track-team-without-a-track-johnson-creek-competes-at-d-3-sectionals

The sectional meet was held at Princeton an May 29th and we all travelled there to cheer on our qualifiers.  We were unsure of the weather as they had called for 80% chances of thunderstorms.  Luckily the only rain we had lasted about 5 minutes during competition and then even the clouds went away.   The boys 4x800 started the night out and they finished 14th.  They had a great season and should only get better next year.  Sierrah started her night at the high jump and finished her season with a 12th place finish.  She then went to the discus circle and threw to a 12th place finish.
