Engineering/Math Family Fun Night
Johnson Creek Elementary students had the opportunity to attend an Engineering/Math Family Fun Night on Tuesday, April 21st. There were multiple rooms set up with fun activities for students to try out. Some of the activities were: building Lego mazes, constructing paper airplanes, designing bridges/towers, creating code on Chromebooks, playing math games, and robotics fun. We were fortunate to have four students from the UW-Madison Robotics Team lead one of the sessions. The team brought a robot for students to drive, a sensory stoplight, and different circuit boards with parts from old robots to look at. The students really seemed to be engaged and excited about this fun night at Johnson Creek Elementary!
