The 2014 Johnson Creek High School Volleyball Teams and the elementary school collaborated to organize a children's book drive. On October 6th, varsity team captains and seniors kicked off the drive by speaking at the elementary POPS assembly. These players stressed the importance of literacy to younger students. Together, the volleyball teams and elementary schools collected new/gently used books from Oct. 6th-Oct. 13th. We are proud to announce that 362 books were collected and will be donated to Children's Hospitals of Wisconsin. To coincide with the book drive, varsity volleyball players visited the kindergarten through second grade classrooms to read a story and share the importance of literacy. We are extremely proud of each volleyball player! Thank you to all who helped with this book drive for your support and donations.
