On Thursday, October 23rd Spanish IV/V students had the opportunity to practice their Spanish skills with a native Spanish speaker from Argentina. They Skyped with a young man named Manuel who is currently in his first year of college in Rosario, Argentina. They were able to spend about 40 minutes talking with Manuel about his life in Argentina, and he was able to ask them about their life here in the United States. The students found this to be a really meaningful and educational opportunity.
