JC Students Receive CPR Certification

Medical Occupations students from Johnson Creek High School worked with Johnson Creek Fire/EMS responder Laurie Karafin to become CPR and Heart Saver AED certified for Infant, Child and Adult. Students spent a block period practicing CPR on a manikin, as well as learning how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Students also watched training videos put on by the American Heart Association. The certification is good for two years.
