High School Band/Choir Concerts
The High School Band and Choir concert took place on December 17th at 7pm. The choir opened the concert with an acapella version of Carol of the Bells, followed by “O Holy Night,” a medley of traditional secular tunes and “Winter Song,” which was released in 2008. The band also played four selections including a challenging arrangement of the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah, and ended with a medley including We Three Kings, Joy to the World, O Come All Ye Faithful, Deck the Halls, and The First Noel. Both of the group’s performances were well-received.
