On Thursday, November 21, Johnson Creek Elementary had a visitor come and talk about how much fun it is to read. Ronald McDonald came and did an interactive presentation on reading. Students and staff had fun acting out a story and had fun exploring books.

| Students had the opportunity to compete in a "spelling contest" against the teachers by arranging themselves with the letters 's', 't', 'o', and 'p'. The students came out victorious when students and teachers were asked to spell the word "dots." |
