Why are Bees Important to Wisconsin

Bees are very important to the Earth. Bees may seem scary, but really if you give them their space, they are not scary. Bees are really important to the Earth because bees are the reason we have juicy fruits and vegetables. Without bees we wouldn’t have apples, grapes, peppers, and a lot more. Bees are a source of our food that we eat.
How bees help in my garden at home.

Bees are a big help in my garden at home. When bees land on a flower they pollinate it, which helps plants and flowers live it also helps bees live. My mom and I plant gardens at our house. Most of the time we have a good garden because bees like to come to our garden. So in our garden we help bees and bees help our garden.

The different bees in a hive.

There are three different bees in a hive. The first one is the queen bee. The queen bee is the bee that makes all the little baby bees. There is only one queen bee per hive. When the queen bee dies the worker bees find an egg and make that one the new queen. They have to take care of her in a certain way so she can mate. The second type of bee is the worker bee. The worker bees are all females. They are the ones that fly around looking for nectar. When they are looking for nectar they are pollinating plants. The female bees also are the ones that sting people. The last type of bee is the drone bees. The drones are also the male bees. The one thing they do that is important is mate with the queen bee.
