Students Create Graphic Expressing Why They Like the After School Program

Here at Johnson Creek we can say that we have one of the best after school programs in the area. In coordination with the YMCA, students have the opportunity to participate in a program that operates from 6:30 am until the start of school, as well as the end of the school day until 6pm. Students participate in homework help, craft stations, games, and other activities. With enough interest, the program also runs on early release days as well as teacher inservice days. This program is an excellent opportunity for parents that may have a difficult time finding childcare for a short period of time.

The students in the after school program created a hand-drawn graphic to show what they loved about the  program. Student's in Mr. Benisch's Desktop Publishing class were then tasked to take the drawing and turn it into a digital graphic. The final design selected was created by Kate Evans and Kelsey Cobbler and is shown below:
